Meat And Bone Meal For Animals Feed
Animal feed containing 50% meat and bone meal is a specialized and nutrient - rich option in the animal nutrition market. This type of feed is carefully formulated to meet the dietary needs of various animals.
First, in terms of composition, the 50% meat and bone meal provides a substantial amount of protein, calcium, and phosphorus. Protein is essential for muscle growth and repair in animals, while calcium and phosphorus play a crucial role in maintaining strong bones and teeth. The remaining 50% of the feed usually consists of other grains, vitamins, and minerals, creating a balanced nutritional profile.
Second, this feed is suitable for a wide range of animals. It can be an excellent choice for livestock such as pigs, cattle, and sheep, as well as for poultry like chickens and ducks. These animals can efficiently utilize the nutrients in the meat and bone meal to support their growth, development, and overall health.

Amino Acid Meat And Bone Meal Usage:
1. Chicken bone meal is a good source of protein, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin B12 for chickens, but its feeding value is much lower than that of fish meal and soybean meal, and its quality stability is poor. The dosage should be less than 6%, and attention should be paid to supplementing the lack of amino acids.
2. Pork bone meal can partially replace fish meal in pig compound feed. If it is fed too much, the palatability will decrease and it will also have an adverse effect on growth. Therefore, the dosage is generally less than 5%. It is mostly used in fattening pigs and breeding pig feeds, and piglets should avoid using it.
3. Ruminant livestock meat and bone meal generally has no adverse effects on milk production and milk flavor of dairy cows. The feeding effect on beef cattle is worse than that on pigs and chickens. It can be used with flaxseed meal, soybean meal and grains with good palatability. It is not palatable for sheep and needs a period of adaptation. Since the price of meat meal and meat and bone meal is higher than that of general Plant Protein feed, and the palatability is poor, they are rarely used in ruminant feed.
